Hi!  I’m Kim Switzer, professional muse and practitioner of whimsy .  I’m a writer (read why here), certified Kaizen-Muse™ Creativity Coach, photographer, painter, embroiderer, mixed media and art journaling fanatic, and all around creative (check out my interview by the awesome Anna Alexander to learn more).

So what does all of that mean?  It means I help people get in touch with their creative selves, find and achieve their creative dreams and generally find ways to bring their personal styles of creativity out into the world.  Drop me a note and let’s see what I can help you with.

More about me:

I live in Portland, Oregon with one boyfriend, two cats, and a host of characters inside my head.   I teach in-person classes locally, and I do coaching, workshops, and classes online and over the phone.

You can keep track of what I’m up to through my blog, my newsletter (click the MuseCraft™ News link up above), and on my Facebook page and Twitter feed (links to the right!).

So how come I get to do all this cool stuff?  Because I’m lucky!  Also,  I have a B.A. degree in psychology and a post-graduate teaching certification in English Language and Literature.  I’ve participated in and led a variety of writing workshops and groups and have taught several arts and crafts classes in person.  I’ve studied creativity coaching with Dr. Eric Maisel and completed his beginning and advanced classes.  I am a Modern Day Muse Group Facilitator, and I studied with Jill Badonsky, to receive my Kaizen-Muse™ Creativity Coaching certification which is work I love, and I’m so excited that I get to carry that out into the world!
